Viticulture adaptation to climate change
Plant & Food Research Blenheim and the New Zealand Winegrowers Research Centre are part of the second “laboratory without walls” research project launched by New Zealand and France. This international project involves geographers, climatologists, agronomists and wine professionals to develop climate change adaptation scenarios at the vineyard level.

Dryland Eucalyptus are attractive due to their resistance to decay in the ground. They neither rot nor do they need chemical treatment to stop them rotting. That is interesting for many land users, in particular grape growers who want organic certification for their vineyards.
