From its office at the Marlborough Research Centre’s Grovetown Park, biotechnology company DNAiTECH is making strides in addressing global health inequalities through its groundbreaking innovation in diagnostic testing. Recently, DNAiTECH partnered with the Institut Pasteur de Dakar in Senegal to develop point-of-care diagnostic tests for diseases like measles and rubella.

New Research facility to enable climate resilience research for viticulture & horticulture
MRC’s newest research facility aims to help the viticulture industry to respond to climate change, increase productivity, improve quality and enhance operations.
It will be operated by The New Zealand Institute for Plant and Food Research Limited.
A teaching annex will be used for industry workshops and for students at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) studying viticulture and horticultural production.
